I want to be your next elected County Attorney. The people of Campbell County have gone over 2 years without having a county attorney who was elected by the people. This robs the citizens of having a county attorney who owes his allegiance to all of the people of Campbell County, not just a select few who are responsible for placing the county attorney into this important position. The people need to choose their county attorney. I want to be the people’s choice for County Attorney.
I want to work for you, the residents of Campbell County. I am sure if you personally had legal matters to tend to, you would want the most talented and experienced attorney available. I am asking you to take this same approach in choosing a County Attorney.
Did you know that the County Attorney is the legal advisor to the fiscal court? He is also responsible for the collection of court ordered child support payments and the prosecution of driving under the influence cases, assaults, bad checks, theft cases, and a multitude of other misdemeanor offenses, including juvenile cases.
Obviously the above duties are substantial and can have a dramatic effect on the quality of life for the law abiding citizens of Campbell County. By putting my extensive experience in handling major trials to work for you, the tax payers of Campbell County can be assured of getting the most for their hard earned tax payer dollars.
My 28 years of practicing law have given me a wide range of experience. I have been the city attorney for the City of Highland Heights for 23 years. I served as the city attorney for Crestview for 10 years and 5 years as an assistant city attorney with the City of Newport. I even spent 5 years as an assistant prosecutor here in Campbell County. I am confident that there are no legal issues that will come across my desk that I would not feel comfortable in handling. This wide breadth of experience will result in substantial savings of tax payer dollars by handling cases in house instead of hiring expensive insurance lawyers to defend the County.
The same old song and dance of taxing and spending people’s money as if it were a bottomless pit must cease. The people’s tax dollars must be spent for the benefit of the people and not simply for the benefit of public employees. It is time to transform government into the lean, efficient machine that private enterprise requires to be successful. This transformation will not be easy but it can be done.
